Shannon Coleman has served her sisterhood and sororiety Delta Sigma Theta for more than 10 years as a community leader, social creator and teen mentor. An active member at her birth church St. Andrews AME and a blessed Edition to her now church Center of Praise! Shannon is the sister every womann needs and wishes for! Christi Ketchum has had activism in her blood from highschool, to college, as a young adult living in Atlanta Georgia and of course more so than ever these days as the creator of Our Rightfull Place LLC. a network for Black Women to come together for positive dialoque, sharing of stories, relationship building and creating an open and safe space for sisters to become better leaders, mothers, allies, friends and WOMEN. Lisa Daniels is a friend, a sister, mother, daughter and friend that you can count on. I've personally watched her defy all odds to achieve goals that would seem impossible to some. A single mother raising a young daughter, putting another child through college while trying to get her doctorate and at the same time heading one of the most successful Black Veteran History Non-Profit Programs in the US. The Unsung Living History Project created by Daniels collects and preserves stories of African-American veterans and their families. This oral history was founded in 2000 by Daniels who, after discovering her grandmother was a "Riveter," had difficulty finding information about the African American experience in the military. Lisa Daniels is a genius! From sports to politics to music to black veteran trivia this dynamo knows her stuff. Please come out and celebrate her genius with us

Culture Collection was a Sacramento staple for all things beautiful, african and of our culture. You could find unique gifts from one of a kind cards to kente cloth for graduation ceremonies. The spirit of black pride and ownership of something beautiful overflowed to many young adults of this generation just from seeing the impossible become possible through sister Betty's Culture Collection.
